Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an innovative treatment blending ketamine with psychotherapy. This combination acts as a catalyst, enhancing the healing process to foster lasting change over time.
Ketamine temporarily increases the neurotransmitter glutamate and quiets the default mode network (DMN) in the brain. This effect helps the mind become more open and flexible, facilitating exploration of new perspectives, insights, and solutions to persistent challenges. KAP aims to liberate individuals from habitual thoughts and beliefs that hinder personal growth.

Embrace Healing Together: Finding Strength in Community
For centuries, psychedelic medicines have been used in communal healing ceremonies. Even so, you might initially feel scared or too vulnerable to be in an altered state in a group setting. Yet group work holds immense healing potential. Compassion and support from peers can create a unique sense of connection and understanding. It’s a chance to address past relational wounds within a supportive community. We are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment so that you might begin to explore new, more helpful relational patterns together.
I collaborate with Ashley Mahoney from Arise Wellness to host the Elevated Group KAP Series at her office in Newburyport, MA. Our groups are limited to 4-6 participants, with both Ashley and myself present. Participation is limited to residents of New Hampshire or Massachusetts.
Step into the transformative journey of our ELEVATED series – a profound exploration into self-discovery and healing.
In this space, we honor the inherent power within each of us to heal, recognizing the remarkable capacity of our bodies to restore and rejuvenate.
With the synergy of carefully administered medicine, a nurturing environment, shared wisdom, and intentional integration, our community comes together to release what no longer serves us and embrace profound expansion.
Here, we come together to share laughter, shed tears, and offer unwavering support to one another.
Together, we rise. Together, we ELEVATE.
– Ashley & Beth

An Important Note about Preparation and Integration
Integration is a vital process in psychedelic therapy, bridging the insights gained during the experience with everyday life. It begins with thorough preparation, akin to laying a solid foundation for a house, ensuring a stable base for profound transformation. Through setting clear intentions, cultivating self-awareness, and fostering a supportive environment, we prepare ourselves mentally and emotionally for the journey ahead.
The benefits of psychedelic experiences extend beyond the session itself. Integration involves translating insights into practical changes, understanding the symbolic meanings of experiences, and integrating lessons learned into daily routines. By taking responsibility for meaningful growth and utilizing the support of psychedelic therapy, we facilitate ongoing personal evolution long after the session concludes.
